Origin Story

Tara didn't start in a classroom. She started on a restaurant floor. About six years in hospitality and restaurant management taught her how to train people fast, under pressure, with zero patience for boring onboarding.

That instinct carried into 10+ years of formal, corporate L&D work: building the inside sales training function from scratch at Redfin, while also supporting leadership training there. From there, she moved into leading complex technical training at Visa within the Professional Services org, partnering closely with the risk and identity teams, and driving AI training and adoption across roles. The throughline is consistent: bring order and clarity to complexity, and make learning feel useful instead of obligatory.
